My name is Kenneth and I grew up in the neighborhood around the 100 block of South 57th St in West Philadelphia.

This block was devastated by a fire that destroyed 9 homes, leaving 9 families homeless. Can you imagine returning or being home to see your home ravaged by fire? Losing everything you've accomplished, and left with only the clothes on your back. It's a situation that calls for community help. Not just local community, because we are all part of the world community.

I am reaching out to everyone who sees this request for funds to help these nine families rebuild their lives to some sense of normalcy. And please share this request with others. God forbid, this could happen to any of us and we would need the same assistance I'm trying to achieve. Please open your hearts and give what you can to help these folks who once again lost everything.
