In the early morning of Sunday, September 14th, my sister and nephew were attacked by their husband/father while they slept. After the attack, my brother-in-law stole the family car and fled the scene. Traveling at high speeds, he ultimately crashed and passed away at the crash site. My nephew was stabbed and slashed multiple times, while my sister received several cuts and bruises all over her body. While they are both now physically stable, they have a tremendously long road ahead of them before they are able to make a full mental and emotional recovery.

I am reaching out to everyone for continued prayers and also asking for donations to help them through the year ahead. They have lost the breadwinner of the household, their only form of transportation, and their home all at once.

Donations will go towards ongoing counseling services, follow-up doctor's appointments, the purchase of another vehicle, fees associated with relocating, bills and utilities, and any other things needed to help them get back on their feet and comfortable for the next year.
