Nepal Flood Relief — Supporting the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund

Nepal is facing a devastating humanitarian crisis following the catastrophic flash flooding in the Bhote Koshi River on August 26, 2026. Communities have suffered tremendous loss of life, displacement, and destruction of homes and critical infrastructure.

As Nepalis and friends of Nepal living abroad, many of us are looking for a trustworthy and meaningful way to help our country and the families affected by this tragedy.

We are organizing this fundraiser to bring our community together and support the official relief and recovery efforts of the Government of Nepal.

100% of the net funds received from this fundraiser will be transferred to the Government of Nepal’s Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund through the official donation channel designated by the Government of Nepal.

The Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund is supporting the government’s ongoing search and rescue, emergency relief, assistance to displaced families, and rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas.

Transparency is extremely important to us. After funds are transferred, we will post updates to this GoFundMe campaign documenting the amount transferred and confirmation of the transfer to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.

For many of us living outside Nepal, this is an opportunity to come together and help our fellow Nepalis during an extraordinarily difficult time.
