Traumatically, the apocalyptic Eaton and Palisades fires here in Los Angeles have, overnight, uprooted the lives of people I know and love in my LA entertainment community. Sadly, some have lost everything: their homes, personal possessions, and treasured memories perishing in the catastrophic blazes. It has been heartbreaking each time as I hear of another friend who has had their life utterly decimated overnight.

These friends are the blue collar “below-the-line” artisans and craftspeople who passionately and tirelessly work behind the scenes to help create many of the projects we all enjoy on television or streaming and in movie theaters. They are hourly or weekly employees most of whom will need considerable assistance moving forward to foster their recovery, and they need our immediate help.

So I humbly call upon my greater community at large, and anyone else you know who loves escaping for a few hours through movies and tv shows, to open up your arms and hearts and help embrace those affected.

This page is not organized for one individual or family but for a community of honest, hardworking, and lovely people who have supported me and my family through the years. Please give what you can, no amount is too small or too large.
