Help Rebuild Lives After Devastating Flooding

Hello, my name is Cheryl Medley. Kelly and James Ball are our best friends. On September 27, 2024, East Tennessee faced historic flooding from Hurricane Helene. Kelly and James lost their home, vehicles, and all of their belongings in the catastrophic flooding along the Nolichucky River in Erwin, TN.

They had worked tirelessly on this property for months getting ready for a home they literally moved into less than a week ago. To add insult to injury, the mortgage company that holds their loan had deemed this area not in a flood zone, so no flood insurance was added to their policy. There will be no insurance to cover the loss of their home or their contents. They literally came out with clothes on their backs and have nothing else.

While this goal seems outrageous, it is just a drop in the bucket on what it will take for them to replace their home and contents. All proceeds go directly to Kelly and James.
