Help Rebuild Lives After Devastating Flood

Hello, my husband, our dogs, and I were emergency evacuated yesterday morning from our home. We lost everything. The house started to flood at 4am and within two hours we were more than waist deep in water. We only have two pairs of shorts, two shirts each, and one pair of shoes. We are very proud people and not ones to ask for help yet always extend help to others. My friends convinced me to post this because we have never experienced such devastation in our lives. I don’t expect much will be salvageable and though Gofundme made a suggestion to ask for what I thought was a very high number. We are simply looking to keep ourselves sustained until we can start the process of rebuilding our lives.
