Less than 2 years ago, I lost my husband of 25 years unexpectedly. Since then my life has been incredibly difficult. Besides tying up his affairs, I was forced to sell our condo, moved into a rental home and things spiraled down from there. I have intiated legal actions against thos who took advantage of my good nature & generosity. That has gotten me nowhere. It is time I look out for myself first. From Labor Day to Jan 5th, all but a few weeks were spent in hospital, notably from Oct 30-Jan 5. Following my 7th clot in 7 years, I underwent an arterial bypass of right leg & toe amputation. Since I was discharged, I have been living in a motel at my expense, spending the entirety of my income just to stay sheltered. My sisters & a few friends have shouldered the bulk of the burden to augment with what they can. My goal is it to get a vehicle, possibly a converted van or tiny RV so I can either travel someplace warm or return to NH where I can, rest, recuperate and reset my life and get back on the path to self reliance.
