Help Rebuild Levi’s Life After Devastating Fire

Hello everyone! My name is Sophia Castillo I’m making this fundraiser for myself and my son in hopes of getting a little push to help us out. The Eaton fire burnt down my home in Altadena and everything in it. I evacuated my home before there was an official evacuation order so that I could get ahead but only took a handful of things for myself and my son. I did not expect for the fire to spread to my home so quickly, I had no chance to go back for more belongings. My son and I lost our entire wardrobe, shoes, toys, precious items, the list goes on.

I thankfully have a family member that is providing us with housing but I still need to work on setting my son up for success and need to start again from zero. I’ve been steadily looking for a new place to live but the price gouging has gone up tremendously after the fires. I have been doing this alone with him for a year so everything that I have accumulated for him is through my own blood, sweat, and tears. I was just starting to get our life back in order when this tragedy happened.

I have a hard time asking for help especially when there are so many others who have also suffered, but anything helps to at least make sure my son doesn’t feel the brunt of this situation.
