My name is Liang Wang, co-owner of KESSHŌ Chocolate and Gelato. We make Asian-inspired sweet treats in Austin.

Our office and warehouse got broken into on Oct 22nd, resulting in over $5,000 loss, and we need to spend extra to fix the alarm system and gates that also got damaged. We filed a police report but still haven't heard anything back.

We are a small business in the early years with barely any profit after purchasing some new equipment this year—some of which was stolen two days ago, and the cost is rising so quickly—permitting, labor, ingredients...

We hope we could raise some funds to make up some of the loss. Insurance doesn't cover most of these, and we honestly cannot afford any insurance premiums.

After this fundraising, we will give it back to the community next year after we turn a profit again.
