Help Rebuild Julian's Creative Workshop Today Post Helene

Donation protected
Julian Harris is a woodworker and cherished and integral member of the Asheville creative community for over a decade. He honed his craft in woodworking at Haywood Community College and joined Foundation Woodworking in the River Arts District of Asheville. With strong ties to the River Arts District and Wedge Brewing Company, many of the Asheville community would share a Wedge pint after a long day of work.

Hurricane Helene caused the French Broad River to flood Foundation Woodworking along with all of his tools and the whole shop of woodworking tools. Before the flood, it was hard to imagine that the water would rise to these unprecedented levels. Even after moving all the tools up many feet off the ground, the whole building was submerged under water up to the roof.

(work in progress)

Please consider donating to this beloved member of the Asheville River Arts District community to help cover loss of income while a new studio is established and the loss of all of Julian's tools and raw wood. Not to mention the beautiful projects that were in progress before the storm. You may have seen his work at Wedge Brewing, Wrong Way Cabins, Gemelli Restaurant, and countless more.
