Help Rebuild Jon's Happy Place
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out to share something really unfortunate that happened recently. My dad, Jon Bach, was on a walk down to the river with our new dog. He received a call that his garage had caught fire. While we aren't sure of the direct cause, his garage—his favorite place to unwind, work on bikes, and just be in his element—was badly damaged in the fire.
It wasn’t a total loss, but it was serious. The garage will need to be rebuilt, and along with the structure itself, he lost a lot of what made it his happy place: his tools, his motorcycles, his new Mercedes, and years’ worth of projects, gear, and memorabilia. On top of that, ash, soot, and smoke made their way through the house, covering almost every surface, so the cleanup is a bigger process than we first imagined.
We’re incredibly grateful no one was hurt. But seeing so much of what he’s worked for get wiped out so fast has been tough. A lot of people have asked how they can help, so we’ve set up this page as a way for friends, family, or anyone who feels called to support him in rebuilding his happy place.
Donations will go directly toward cleanup, rebuilding the garage, and replacing some of the tools and items he needs to get back to doing what he loves.
Thank you for reading, and for any support—whether it’s a donation, a share, or just some kind words. It all means more than you know.
With gratitude,
Christian Bach
