On August 23 in Miami Oklahoma, a fire occurred at Alexa's parents' home. Thankfully, they were not inside and not physically hurt. Jim was able to save a few of their beloved animals but unfortunately three had perished in the fire. They lost everything in their home, but nothing compares to the loss of their dog Nitro, cat Boop and our cat Chop. While most things in the home are replaceable and insurance will help, it won’t be nearly enough to rebuild after this devastating fire. The emotional burden of losing their home is overwhelming, and financial strain only adds to these challenges.

Those who know Ellen and Jim know that they would give you the shirt off their back and ask nothing in return.
