In October 2025, Hurricane Melissa struck this small rural community in the hills of Jamaica, leaving behind devastation and hardship. I grew up in this community, and I'm trying to help them rebuild.

The storm badly damaged the churches, the primary school, homes, and farms.

The school lost its computers along with essential office supplies. There is no safe place for drinking water during school hours. The school is without a roof currently, which is causing leaks into the lower floor.

Many community members have lost their roofs and some are still without power.

The church, once a place for community services, cannot be used as it has also lost its roof. The members are constantly bailing out water and are using a tarp to protect the benches.

Farmers are struggling to replant their crops, and families are working hard to rebuild their homes.

Your support will help us repair the church and school, provide supplies and computers for the children, restore safe drinking water, help farmers plant crops, rebuild homes, and offer solar chargers to those in need.

Every donation will go directly toward purchasing the supplies and resources needed to restore hope and stability in the community. We are purchasing supplies locally to revitalize the local economy after the Hurricane. Unless the items cannot be sourced locally.

Some of the funds will be allocated for logistics, as this community is deep in the mountains of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.
