My name is Tessa McKenzie (Cindy),and I was born and raised in the beautiful community of Irwin, Montego Bay. my heart is heavy as I watch from afar the devastation that has struck the place I once called home. Though I now live in Birmingham, UK, my thoughts, love, and prayers remain with my family, friends, and neighbours in Irwin who are suffering deeply after the recent disaster.

In a matter of hours, powerful winds and torrential floodwaters swept through our community, leaving behind scenes of heartbreak and destruction. Homes were torn apart, roads collapsed, and families were displaced with nowhere to turn. The main road leading to Irwin has been completed lifeline for so many has been completely destroyed, cutting off access to vital supplies and emergency assistance.

Many residents have lost everything they own. Some are left without shelter, food, or clothing. Tragically, lives have also been lost. Yet, in the midst of unimaginable loss, the spirit of Irwin remains strong. We are a community that has always looked out for one another, and now, more than ever, we must come together to rebuild what was lost.

Your donation will go directly towards bringing immediate relief and long-term recovery to the people of Irwin:
