Help Rebuild Irfan Khan’s Home
Donation protected
I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support for someone who has dedicated his life to the art of music—my Tabla instructor, Mr. Irfan Khan.
Despite his immense talent and dedication, Mr. Khan, like many artists in Pakistan, faces significant financial challenges. He lives in an 80-year-old house with his wife, two children, and elderly parents. Unfortunately, this house, which has sheltered his family for generations, has now become a danger to them. Recent torrential rains have caused large cracks to appear, and an engineer has confirmed our worst fears—the house could collapse at any moment.
Irfan’s mastery of the Tabla has taken him across the globe, including a performance at the prestigious Oregon Shakespeare Festival in the USA. Yet, despite his international acclaim, the reality of his situation is heartbreaking. His passion for music, while enriching the lives of countless students and audiences, has not provided the financial security needed to ensure a safe home for his family. His income as a Tabla instructor barely covers daily expenses, leaving him with little to no savings.
This is where we, as a community, can make a difference. I am launching this campaign to raise funds for the urgent demolition and rebuilding of Mr. Khan’s home. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to providing Irfan and his family with a safe and secure place to live.
Imagine a life where your art and passion are your world, but your home is on the brink of collapse. Let’s come together to support a man who has given so much to preserve our musical heritage. Your generosity will not only help rebuild a house but will also restore hope to a family that truly deserves it.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
