Help Rebuild Hope for Markeis Scott’s Family

About the Campaign

This fundraiser is dedicated to supporting Markeis Scott, a valued team member at 48forty Solutions’ Byron, GA plant (#390), and his family, who recently faced a devastating event. On December 18, 2023, their family home was tragically destroyed in a fire. Markeis, his wife, and their four children—Emily (12), Omari (8), and twins Diamond and Cash (2)—lost everything they owned in the blink of an eye.

The Situation

The fire occurred unexpectedly, leaving the family in a state of shock and loss. Fortunately, the family was not at home during the incident and are physically unharmed. However, they are now faced with the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding their lives. With Christmas just around the corner, the timing of this tragedy adds an additional layer of hardship.

Our Goal

We are reaching out to the community for support. The goal of this fundraiser is to provide financial assistance to Markeis and his family during this challenging time. The funds raised will help cover immediate needs such as clothing, food, and temporary lodging, as well as contribute towards finding a new home and replacing lost belongings.
