Dawn and her girls have suffered a major hurricane loss once again! On Thursday night, September 26th, 2024, Hurricane Helene sent a storm surge towards her home and the water came pouring into her house. Her and her 15 year old twin girls had to make the terrifying decision to evacuate late at night and walk about half a mile in waist deep water to our Dad who had gotten as close as he safely could to rescue them.

We aren't yet sure of the extent of the loss, but it will be major. Dawn just finished getting her home back in order after Hurricane Ian tore her roof off and devastated her home just two years ago.
