On Thursday, September 26th, Hurricane Helene devastated Asheville, causing two dams to break and resulting in catastrophic flooding. My brother Cody and sister-in-law Kristen, along with their four children—Arleigh (11), Piersyn (7), Keleigh (2), and baby Wyldin (2 months)—lost their home and all their possessions.
