Micaiah, son of long-time Onion Creek-area residents Peter and Laurie Quinn, has lost his home in a forest fire, started by lightening. After days of trying to protect both his home and his mothers , with the support of fire crews, the fire overwhelmed their efforts and raged through, burning everything.

This comes at a hard time, as his father, Peter, passed away earlier this year, and Micaiah had just invested time and what money he could into remodeling the house that was his home for 30 years, and where his children have so many memories, so that he could sell it and build next to his mother. He planned to make improvements to her home for her comfort and to be close to her and support her in her care as she ages.

There is no insurance money and so any help that can be extended during this difficult time would be greatly appreciated.
