I am creating this fundraiser to help an elderly woman in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Colombia, who is now facing an unimaginable crisis after the devastating 7.4 earthquake that struck on August 10, 2026. She lives alone and has no husband, no children, and nowhere else to go. Her modest home was severely damaged in the earthquake and is now unsafe. The front of the house is cracked nearly in half, held up only by temporary wooden supports and caution tape. Inside, the walls have separated, and part of the ceiling is open and unstable. Every time it rains, there is a real fear that the house could collapse completely. When family members reached her, they found her overwhelmed, in tears, and terrified of losing the only place she has left.

I am asking for help to fund urgent repairs to the ruins of her home so she can have a safe and stable place to live again. These donations will go directly toward restoring basic safety and preventing further collapse.
