Hello everyone -

As many of you may know, HELP Humane, Inc, a no-kill cat rescue based in Belton, Missouri experienced an electrical fire on Wednesday, October 29th. No animals or humans were injured in the rescue, as we were all very fortunate that it occurred during the day when volunteers were able to spot it pretty quickly. All of the cats have been scattered temporarily to stay at their local veterinary clinic, Belton Animal Clinic & Exotic Care Center, and within volunteers' homes until the shelter has been repaired and we can move them back in.

I want to do a GoFundMe to send out to the masses to raise money for them to help rebuild. Yes, food (such as Purina Cat Chow, Kitten Chow, canned food), Litter, Cat beds, Toys, Towers, Blankets, Sofas/Chairs for the cats to sleep on, etc are all welcome and greatly appreciated, but there will be financial expenses in the rebuild of the damaged portion of the shelter, as well as buying new supplies, medications, etc for these kiddos. Please feel free to donate what you can. I know times are tight, but every dollar helps. I also have a PayPal you can donate to so that 100% of it will go to HELP Humane (instead of a portion since the GoFundMe company takes a cut). Either way, whatever I raise between now and November 15th, it will be DOUBLED by a local IT/Computer company up to $10,000 (they wish to remain anonymous). ❤️
