Help Rebuild Graham Smith's 57 Chevy after fire at Santa Pod
Donation protected
Help Rebuild Graham Smiths 1957 Chevy "Grimhilde" after a catastrophic fire at Santa Pod.
On 26th May, during the Main Event at Santa Pod Raceway, Graham Smith, a member of the Street Eliminator class experienced every racer's nightmare — a fire broke out in the car while he was still inside it. Thanks to the track safety crew and quick reactions, he was rescued and taken to hospital. Thankfully, Graham is okay, but the car didn’t come off as lucky.
The damage is extensive — from the wiring and bodywork to the engine bay and safety systems, it’s a total rebuild situation.
This amazing racing community has already started stepping up, offering parts, labour, and moral support — now we’re launching this fund to co-ordinate and organise the effort.
Your donations will go directly toward:
Replacement parts (engine and body components, wiring, etc.)
Essential safety gear lost in the fire
Labour & specialist repairs
If you can donate, please do, and share this on your insta, facebook and TikTok platforms — or reach out to Victoria or Leah directly by using the contact button below if you can help with parts, labour, or time. Every little bit helps us to get Graham and Rachel's pride and joy back on the road and track.
Let’s get the car — and this racer — rebuilt and racing again!
