Help Rebuild 'Gan HaChaim' After the Devastating Fire
Donation protected
Dear friends,
I'm reaching out with a heavy heart.
Just a few days ago, during a wave of regional security events, a piece of interception debris fell from above and struck near the land of Gan HaChaim (“The Garden of Life”), an ecological and educational farm in northern Israel (Yavne'el), created by my cousin Livluv and his partner Ella.
This fragment ignited a devastating fire that erased their home, livelihood, and a sanctuary they spent the last seven years building.
Everything — the orchard, vegetable garden, animals, guest cabins, library, and community spaces — is gone.
To see a place of peace fall victim to surrounding unrest is a pain beyond words.
They invested over ₪1.5 million (~$400,000) into this land and received no compensation.
'Gan HaChaim' was more than a farm; it was a place of learning, healing, and connection where thousands came to find peace, purpose, and hope.
It began on a dry hillside — a bare slope where they dug, planted, built, and listened to the land.
Over time, it became a living example of how people and nature can thrive together — nurturing endangered species and cultivating a rich, biodiverse landscape. A place created for all living beings.
Though the physical space is lost, the spirit and vision remain.
Today, they need our help to rebuild.
Funds will go toward restoring the land, replacing essential tools and materials, rebuilding community spaces, and reigniting educational programs that brought healing to so many.
Help us bring life back to the soil, hope back to the people, and vision back to our homeland.
Every contribution makes a difference.
With gratitude,
Julie
