Help Rebuild for Michelle and Marcellus

On Monday, June 19th, 2023, Michelle and her husband Marcellus lost their home in a devastating house fire. You may recognize Michelle, who is a dear friend of mine, and beloved by everyone she meets, from around the community, where her infectious smile and her unwavering positivity make a lasting impression. Michelle embodies the spirit of a glass-half-full kind of person, always grateful and kind, even in the face of adversity.

Her dream home was the result of tireless work and dedication, as she poured her heart into renovating it after long days at her job. Yet, tragically, everything she had built was destroyed in the fire.

However, she remains resilient, focusing on the fact she and her husband still have the most precious gift of all - their lives. The loss she experienced is immeasurable but her spirit and ability to find beauty in every situation is an inspiration to us all. Now, it’s our chance to rally around her and embrace the way she embraces every person who’s path she crosses on a day to day basis. This GoFundMe campaign aims to raise funds to help ease the difficulties to come. While thankfully there is some support via insurance, unfortunately, it will not cover all of the costs associated with rebuilding their lives. There are still many expenses that will need to be covered such as deductibles, replacement of various belongings and other unforeseen costs. Every little bit of support, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping Marcellus and Michelle overcome these challenges.
