Help Rebuild Flood Damaged Home

Hi, we are Michele and Tabetha. Our parents live in Hudson, Florida. They came home from evacuating for Hurricane Helene to find their house had been flooded with 31 inches of water. They did not have flood insurance as most retirees can't afford it.

They lost everything they own. Their home had so much water in it that the beds floated away from the walls and their refrigerator and washer were flipped over on the floor upon arrival.

Michele is trying to get down there from Pennsylvania to help them, but there are no rooms available, and we can't stay in our parents' home as it's uninhabitable.
