On June 17th,2024 a heartbreaking tragedy struck our family when my dad's home in Ruidoso, New Mexico, was completely destroyed by a devastating South fork fire. The fire took everything—his belongings, cherished memories, and his sense of security. Thankfully, my dad is safe, but he is left with nothing but the clothes he was wearing that day. My dad (Freddy Velasquez) has always been a beacon of strength and generosity in his community. Whether it was helping a neighbor in need, volunteering at local church, or just being there with a kind word and a smile, he has touched so many lives. Now, in his time of need, I am reaching out to ask for your help to give him a fresh start.
