Hello, my name is Rosemarie Estano Van Nostrand. I was born and raised in Daanbantayan, Cebu, Philippines, and I now live in Long Island, New York. My heart is broken as I share the devastating news that on September 30, 2025, a catastrophic 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck my beloved hometown.

This tragedy has left thousands of lives shattered, with families torn apart, homes reduced to rubble, and entire communities in crisis. The need for clean water, food, shelter, and medical supplies is urgent and overwhelming.

In the face of this heartbreak, I believe in the strength of the human spirit and the power of community. That’s why I’ve launched this GoFundMe campaign — to rally support and bring hope and relief to my family, and friends in Daanbantayan. This fundraiser is for myself to help my family and friends in Daanbantayan.
