1. Who I Am
My name is Adrian Allen, and I work as a Lead Data Engineer, based in the London.
I am an individual raising funds to support recovery efforts in Montego Bay, Jamaica, following the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa.
2. Where I'm From
I’m originally from Montego Bay, St James, where many families have lost their homes and are struggling to rebuild.
3. My Relationship to the Community
I have deep personal ties to Montego Bay —my family and friends live there, and I’m committed to helping communities recover and rebuild after this disaster.
4. How the Funds Will Be Spent
The funds raised—targeting J$2–3 million—will be used to purchase zinc roofing sheets (approx. J$4,920 each) and plyboards (approx. J$6,800–J$7,600 each) to support short-term home repairs.
We will work directly with trusted community leaders to identify those most in need and ensure fair, transparent distribution of materials.
Many families have lost their homes and are struggling to access government support due to limited digital literacy and outreach.
These materials will help restore safe living conditions and provide immediate relief to those most in need.
Funds will be distributed in collaboration with trusted community leaders, ensuring transparency and that support reaches the most vulnerable households.
Your contribution will directly help families rebuild and recover with dignity. Every donation counts.
