Here we go... AGAIN?!?!

In February, the Clay Ray Veterans Hall of Excelsior Springs, MO was the victim of a high-speed chase ending with the car crashing through our roof and into our kitchen. We have been working tirelessly since then to repair the hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages and were hoping to be able to re-open within the next 6 weeks or so.

Wednesday morning, May 28th, there was another completely separate incident in which a driver suffering a medical event took the same path as the chase earlier this year and once again, landed on our roof!! Or, IN our roof rather. This time it landed further south in the bar area, which wasn't damaged in the first incident. We are waiting on insurance adjusters to determine damages and our next steps and will keep you updated as we learn more about THIS rebuilding.

While we are insured, we have been unable to conduct business since the incident in February and our bills still need to be paid. We are asking for the public's help in getting our bills paid and replacing things that are not covered by insurance. Please donate and/or share, thank you!!
