The Morrill Fire was Nebraska’s largest recorded wildfire in state history, burning more than 600,000 acres and affecting grazing lands for upwards of 35,000 cattle statewide.

And that was the fire that hit our friends at the Circle L Ranch hard — grass, fences, and years of hard-won work gone in a matter of hours. Ranching families take care of their own, and that's exactly what this night is about.

Those of y'all who joined us for season one of Cast Iron Cowboy on the Outdoor Channel have already met the Loomis family at the Circle L Ranch.

So what do we do when friends are in need? We help out!
