Fire Relief Fund for Christman’s 1805 Tavern
To Our Community,
Last night we awoke to our beloved 1805 Tavern engulfed in flames. Everyone is safe.
It was the oldest recorded barn in Greene County, and was filled with cherished farm antiques, our heritage, and our memories. My father, grandfather, and a few good men, spent over 30 years making the tavern the incredible space it was. A lifetime of labors of love. We are beyond words- none can describe the pain of this loss.
Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover most of the damage. We ask you now, our community, to help us. Although the structure will remain gone, all that we can do to keep the business running we will do!
Thank you to our first responders, our loyal members, our friends, and all who reached out with prayers and support. We are blessed to be part of such a loving community.
In Gratitude,
The Christman Family
