Christina Cunningham is a dear friend and soul sister. We met our freshman year at UNCW and became instant friends. We have shared many trials and triumphs together the past 30 years.
In the fall of 2022, and after two decades living in Vermont, Christina relocated to Black Mountain, NC in search of milder winters and new adventures. Christina is a massage therapist and health coach. In June, she moved into a sweet little cabin at the Quietude retreat where she lived and worked, in addition to her work at a spa in downtown Asheville. For those of you that know her, you know that she is a healer through and through. She is one of the most caring and selfless humans you will ever have the pleasure of meeting, and she is always putting others needs before her own.
Hurricane Helene devastated Western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee. Black Mountain was hit especially hard and Christina’s cabin was destroyed by flooding. All of her possessions were damaged or destroyed, including her treatment room. Many of you are looking for ways to help. This is an opportunity to personally help someone who spends her life helping others and whom many people know and love. Your donations will go directly to support Christina, as she begins to rebuild her life and business. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated!
I have added a photo and video of the damage to her cabin and will be adding more soon. It was horrifying. This storm was truly unprecedented, and our hearts and prayers are with all of those affected by the storm.
