Hi, my name is Chencha, my family and I are 16 year residents of Altadena California. I am a builder and a soft sculpture artist. I have had a small soft sculpture business for about 8 years. When the Eaton fire tore through Altadena devastating our whole community, it also destroyed my ability to work on my art business. The fire took out our backyard, garage, and a Gypsy Wagon I spent over a year building along with all my art supplies. I lost so many other sculptures and craft tools as well. Our family was struggling financially before the fires hit so this has been a ride! We are still displaced and unable to live in our house due to smoke damage and toxic chemicals. No one could possibly replace our sense of peace, our neighbors' lives, and all the homes lost. But we can try to heal one little bit at a time.
