Today, Blush & Willow Photography was devastated by a fire at The Store Menangle, where my sister Natalie’s studio is located.

The fire has caused extensive damage throughout The Store Menangle and Natalie's studio, including damage to furniture, décor, electrical equipment, and essential photography tools that she relies on to run her business. Many client products and stored items were also impacted, and at this stage there is still uncertainty about what, if anything, can be salvaged from the studio.

At the moment, everything feels very uncertain for Natalie. The studio was not just her workplace, but a space she built with care to preserve the most meaningful moments in people’s lives newborns, maternity journeys, and growing families. It has always been about holding onto memories that pass far too quickly.

Right now, Natalie doesn’t yet know what the future looks like for Blush & Willow Photography. The loss is not only physical, but also deeply affecting her ability to continue working, with bookings disrupted, income impacted, and the studio unable to operate in its current state.

It is incredibly hard to process that something built over years of dedication to serving local families, something that is also how Natalie supports her own family day to day, can change so suddenly.

I am now reaching out on Natalie’s behalf to the community she has always given so much to through her work. If you are able to help in any way, your support during this very difficult and uncertain time would mean more to her than words can express.
