Help Rebuild Blair House – A Community Treasure Lost to Fire
Dear Friends, Supporters, and Kindhearted Souls,
On Saturday, June 21, 2025, our hearts were shattered when a devastating fire swept through Blair House, destroying our newly completed main banquet hall. What was once a beautiful dream created by four Bahamian women — a place filled with elegance, laughter, and cherished memories — is now reduced to ashes.
We are the co-founders of Blair House at Le Château on the Green, a proudly local, women-owned business on Grand Bahama Island. With love, sacrifice, and determination, we built a space where our community could celebrate life’s most meaningful milestones — weddings, baby showers, business gatherings, and cultural events.
Sadly, at the time of the fire, we had no insurance. The loss is total — financially and emotionally. To make matters worse, when the fire trucks arrived, they had no water… twice. Helpless, we stood and watched as years of hard work and sacrifice went up in flames.
But we refuse to give up. And with your help, we can rise again.
Your donations will go directly toward:
Rebuilding the banquet hall — structure, roofing, electrical, and plumbing
Replacing essential equipment, furnishings, and décor
Creating a stronger, safer space for our community’s future celebrations
Every contribution — whether $10, $50, or more — makes a real difference in bringing Blair House back to life. If you are unable to give today, please support us by sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and networks.
✨ Blair House is more than a business. It’s a symbol of hope, resilience, and the power of community. Together, we can rebuild this dream and create an even greater space for Grand Bahama Island.
Donate now to help us rise from the ashes and reopen Blair House for the community that it was built to serve.
With gratitude and hope,
Nicole Colebrooke & The Blair House Team
