Help Rebuild Biltmore Village's Christmas Shoppe
Donation protected
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, Biltmore Village in Asheville, North Carolina, has been devastated by severe flooding. This historic area, once a vibrant hub for locals and tourists alike, has suffered immense damage, leaving many beloved businesses struggling to recover.
Our family-owned business, the Olde World Christmas Shoppe, has been a cornerstone of Biltmore Village since 1989. Founded by my parents, Bruce and Brenda Tompkins, the shop has brought joy to countless visitors with its unique selection of Christmas decor and gifts. Over the years, it has become a cherished destination, especially during the holiday season. In recognition of their dedication and for their contributions to the community, my father was honored for the revitalization of the
community just a few years ago.
Unfortunately, the recent flooding has taken a heavy toll on our store, damaging the interior and inventory beyond repair.
FEMA will not be able to offer assistance to cover the necessary demolition and remediation required to bring our beloved shop back to life.
So many people have reached out, asking how they can help. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for the restoration process. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward cleaning, rebuilding, and eventually reopening the Olde World Christmas Shoppe.
Your support will not only help us recover but also preserve a piece of Biltmore Village's history. Thank you for considering a donation. Together, we can bring back the magic of Christmas to our community.
Goal: $300,000
Thank You: We are deeply grateful for any help you can provide during this challenging time. Please share our campaign with your friends and family to help spread the word!
