Help Bill Stange Recover After CA's Worst Wildfire

I'm Emma Stange, daughter of Bill Stange, who has been a Malibu resident since 1958. Unfortunately, my dad has suffered through the latest Malibu fire that has ravaged over 37,000 acres between the combined 6 wildfires currently burning. My dad's home and all of his belongings have been destroyed, except for the few memories and important documents he managed to save. This was my dad's childhood home and was the last standing memory of his deceased parents. My dad has recently been struggling with the passing of his parents, the rise in property taxes, real estate battles, and concerns for his job security - he is currently staying with friends and monitoring the fires' progress, but now has no home to return to once the fires are controlled. My dad is truly a hometown legend and has touched so many lives, whether he is lending a helping hand to his neighbors, passing down his generational experience and knowledge of the ocean to local kids and tourists, or is just a friendly face in the local grocery market. My dad and his parents have been a part of this small, tight-knit Malibu community for near a century - I am now calling on his community to please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and if you feel moved to financially contribute to this fund to help him get back on his feet, we would be so grateful during this agonizing nightmare.
