My name is Mileena and together with my mother Carol Pottinger we are raising funds for my hometown community of Barnstaple which is in the parish of Trelawny in Jamaica, which was devastated by Hurricane Melissa. The storm destroyed homes, tore apart local infrastructure, and left many families without the most basic necessities, food, clothing, and shelter.

Barnstaple is a close-knit community where everyone looks out for each other. It’s the place that raised me and a place filled with love, resilience, and pride. Now, our community needs us more than ever.
