Help rebuild an orphanage that burned down
Donation protected
Hey, my name is Daniel Sobrinho and I am raising some money to rebuild a small Kenyan orphanage that burned down. 3 of the 10 children were injured in the fire, but thankfully everyone survived. We have been working with this orphanage in the past and were able to provide them with a chicken coop which also miraculously was untouched by the fire. We have also provided them with new matresses, blankets, food and shoes. Unfortunately all these things were lost in the fire. I will post pictures of past contributions we made and will also update on any progreas made from donations.
Below is how the budget is being spent:
3 bedroom mud/wood home
We will need:
45 ironsheet each costs ksh 1100,
57posts each ksh200,
35frames for the roofing each costs Ksh320,
30kg of nails ksh150 each
Doors and windows costing ksh8000,
Labour 14000
A total of ksh 86,700
This comes up to about $1000 CAD
It does not cover other necessities like clothes, utensils and bedding.
