Help Rebuild Amber's Home and Hope
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Michael, and I'm reaching out to you today on behalf of my dear friend, Amber Cerda. Back when I joined the US Marine Corps and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California, Amber played a crucial role in my training, shaping my early career in the Marines. Since her time in the Corps, Amber's journey has been marked by both incredible love and heartbreaking challenges.
Amber married the love of her life, Juan, and together they’ve built a beautiful life over the past 26 years, raising two amazing kids. But their path has not been without its trials. Seven years ago, a freak vehicular accident left Juan with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). This life-altering event robbed him of his memories, caused severe tunnel vision, aphasia, and forced him to relearn basic skills like walking, talking, and even dressing himself. On top of these challenges, Juan began suffering from epilepsy six and a half years ago, enduring countless seizures and coming close to losing his life nearly a dozen times.
Through all of this, Amber has been a rock, steadfastly supporting her family. She took on the role of the primary breadwinner, working tirelessly to keep things afloat. Amber has worn many hats—doing laser work, serving as a representative for Young Living, and even launching her own freeze-dried food business. No matter the challenge, she has faced it head-on, determined to provide for her family and care for her beloved husband.
Recently, however, the Cerda family was dealt another devastating blow when their home was flooded due to an issue with their above-ground pool. The damage is severe, and Amber now faces yet another uphill battle.
Amber is one of the strongest people I know. She's a fighter, but right now, she needs a little help. That’s why I’m creating this GoFundMe campaign—to give back to someone who has given so much to those around her.
Any donation, big or small, will make a difference and help Amber and her family rebuild their home and lives. If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with others. Thank you for your support, and let’s help Amber get back on her feet.
