Help Rebuild Alhamadanya Sweets After a Devastating Fire
Donation protected
My name is Eid, and I’m reaching out to our community during this difficult time. My uncle came to the U.S. from Jordan just two years ago, chasing his dream of opening his own bakery, Alhamadanya Sweets, to share his love for traditional sweets with everyone. He’s the kindest, most hardworking man I know his passion is simply making people happy through his baking.
For him, Ramadan is the most special time of the year. It’s the busiest season for his bakery, when families gather and come to him for fresh knafeh and other sweets. Even though he barely sleeps during this month because of how busy he gets, he loves it. Ramadan is what keeps his business going for the rest of the year.
But just three days into Ramadan, a fire broke out next door. While Alhamadanya Sweets wasn’t burned, the damage was devastating. The water from the fire department and sprinklers caused the roof to collapse, destroying everything inside. His equipment, ingredients, and livelihood were all gone in an instant. To make matters worse, he didn’t have insurance to cover the losses, leaving him with nothing to rebuild.
He doesn’t have the money to rebuild. And with five young children four daughters and one son depending on him, this loss is overwhelming.
That’s why I’m turning to our community, to our brothers and sisters, and to anyone who believes in supporting small businesses and hardworking people. My uncle has always dreamed of making Alhamadanya Sweets a success, and I want to show him that he is not alone.
Please consider donating whatever you can to help rebuild his bakery. No amount is too small. And if you can’t donate, sharing this with others would mean the world to us.
Let’s show him the strength of our community and the kindness that Ramadan teaches us.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan, and thank you for your support.
