On Monday, my fiancé and I experienced something we never imagined—a powerful flood that swept through Scotch Plains, NJ, and took so much from us in just minutes. Our car was completely destroyed, along with everything inside it: valuable electronics, tools, and supplies we rely on to run our small businesses. As two college students who recently moved to build a better future together, this has been heartbreaking. That car was more than just transportation—it was our way to school, work, and the foundation of how we provided for ourselves.

Even in the middle of this storm, we’re holding onto our faith and staying strong in good spirit. We truly believe He is walking with us through this trial.
