A few days ago, my family went through something we never imagined could happen. A devastating fire tore through my cousin and uncle's house. Within moments, everything they owned was gone. Thankfully, they made it out alive.

My cousin and uncle immigrated to the United States just a few years ago, working hard to build a new life from scratch. They worked so hard to create a home, to build stability and a future. Now in an instant, it's all been taken away. Their memories, their belongings, their sense of comfort and safety- all turned into ashes. They now stand with only the clothes they escaped in, trying to figure out how to start over again.

My uncle and cousin are kind, humble people who never ask for help. They have always been the kind of people who help others, who give what little they have without hesitation. Now, they're the one's in need. We're asking for help to get them back on their feet--to cover essentials like clothing, furniture, food, and the essentials to start rebuilding their life from the ground up.
