Help Rebuild After Kitchen Fire in Alabama

My daughter in law walked away from a burner that was heating up grease, got side tracked playing with the dog and caught the kitchen on fire. She also put it out with a garden hose, burning her nose and face in the process. Then the fire department arrived and used the hydrant to make sure it was out.

Newp, no home owners insurance. Too expensive in Montgomery, Alabama (more than 4x what I paid in upstate New York).

My fabulous friends asked me to set this up so they can help from afar, and I am humbled by their wish to help.

Demolition is started and clean up has begun. The rafters and roof are undamaged. I can't even conceive how much it's going to cost to get it right again. I guess we are all still a little traumatized and in shock.
