Help Rebuild After a Devastating House Fire – Support for Bill & Kerri Tansey

We’re reaching out on behalf of our friends, Bill and Kerri Tansey, who are facing an unimaginable loss. On Friday, July 18th, 2025, their home was devastated by a horrific fire. In a matter of moments, nearly everything they owned was gone.

Thankfully, no one was home at the time. A heroic neighbor noticed the fire, immediately called 911, and bravely entered the house to save their beloved dog, Seamus. Thanks to his quick action and the fast response of the Point Pleasant Boro Fire Department, Seamus is safe.

While the most important thing is that everyone is safe, Bill and Kerri now face the long and difficult road of rebuilding their lives from scratch. They’ve lost their home, their possessions, and countless irreplaceable memories.

If you know Bill and Kerri, you know that they are two of the kindest, most generous people — the type who show up for everyone else without hesitation. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

The outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and neighbors so far has been overwhelming, and I know they are deeply touched by every message, donation, and act of kindness. Let’s continue to rally together to help ease the burden of this tragedy.
