Help rebuild after Helene’s impact in East Tennessee

I’m Katherine Hatfield and my husband, Johnny Hatfield, has deep roots in Johnson County Tennessee. He spent much of his childhood in this area of East Tennessee and still has close family and friends that have been devastated by the aftermath of Helene. I can’t sit by and hear the stories and see the magnitude of the storm damage without trying to help in some way. Any donation amount can help this community get back on their feet.

I just spoke to one of my husbands cousins who works at one of the schools there. This is what she said…

“I’m at a loss. Our community has been washed away. We still have students unaccounted for. Entire roads have been washed out. Some of these babies only get to eat when school is in, and now we’re looking at a month or more of not having that stability for them.”
