Help Rebuild After Fire and Car Accident

Hi friends, family, and kind supporters,

I’m reaching out during a season of unexpected challenges – but also hope.

As many of you know, I lost nearly all my belongings due to a fire in my apartment building four months ago. It was a shock to watch so much of my life disappear overnight, and it’s taken a long time to rebuild from that loss. In the months since, I’ve found a new place, slowly replaced essentials, and done my best to start over.

Through it all, I was also finishing up two graduate degrees – a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master of Divinity – which I completed this spring. I’m now beginning my career as a professional counselor, building up a caseload of clients in a field I feel deeply called to serve.

Having reliable transportation is essential for me to get to work, meet with clients, and continue growing my practice.

Just as things had been starting to stabilize, I was in a car accident last week that left my trusty minivan a total loss. Thankfully, I wasn’t seriously hurt – but losing my car right now, after the financial hit of the fire and while still getting on my feet professionally, has been overwhelming.
