My daughter and her boyfriend were just starting a new life together in their own place. They had just moved in and had only been living there for about a month. They woke up to a fire that started in the restaurant below them that quickly started going into their apartment. Just about everything they own was damaged from smoke and water. Elias, my daughter's boyfriend, had the same thing happen to him about four years ago when his house caught fire that destroyed everything he owned. After finally getting back on his feet, he lost just about everything again.

They were working on getting renters insurance but were unable to get it in time. They are both left with basically nothing as most is unusable. The dreams they had for their new life together have been put on hold. Thankfully, their two beloved cats made it out safely. Jocelyn, Elias and there 2 cats need to find a new place to live, replace clothes, furniture, and all the essentials that make a house a home.
