A few days ago, my brother was driving home from work — he works out of town and spends a lot of time on the road. On this trip, he made a split-second mistake: he put his car in cruise control and reached over to grab a water bottle from the passenger side floor. While still holding the wheel, the car veered off the road and into a ditch.
As he tried to swerve back, he didn’t see a huge rock in his path. The car hit it, flipped three times, and landed upside down in a pile of sharp rocks.
By some miracle, he survived.
He went into full survival mode, crawling out of the back door of the wreck. He walked away with just a medium gash on his forehead and a few scratches. No broken bones. No internal injuries. It’s unreal — I don’t know how he made it out alive, but I’m beyond grateful.
Now, though, he has no car. And without a car, he can’t get to work. I wish I could help him myself, but I don’t have a car to lend him, and I don’t make enough to get him a replacement. I’m honestly stressing because I don’t want to see him lose his job after surviving something this traumatic.
I’m asking for any help you can give — whether it’s $5, $50, or just a share. Everything helps. The goal is to raise enough to help him get a basic, reliable vehicle so he can get back to work and move forward after this terrifying accident.
Thank you for reading and for caring.
