Early morning on Friday, May 29th, a devastating apartment fire changed everything for me and my neighbors. Our homes, along with all of our belongings, were reduced to ashes and debris. Some of my neighbors’ animals were left behind in the chaos. While we are blessed to be alive and deeply thankful for our safety, the reality is that we now have to start all over again.

For me, the loss is especially hard because my studio was destroyed. I am a cheerleading vocal artist and founder of Snatch King LLC, a professional cheer and dance company offering choreography, music services, and more. I worked my way through poverty to build a business that supports teams and performers. Everything we worked for is now gone, and the foundation of my livelihood has been wiped out in an instant.

Despite the heartbreak, I am determined to rebuild and help my neighbors who also lost everything. Just when you think things are finally getting good, life has a way of twisting the plot.
